Unknown device requiring password to fix iCloud Data Syncing issue

I am getting the message in icloud settings "Some iCloud Data Isn't Syncing". When I click to resolve and put in my apple account password, it brings up a screen to enter the password you use to unlock the mac "skijay-I5", but I have no device named that nor did I ever have that name for a device. I was wondering if entering my password for my mac where I'm having this issue should be entered, but I don't want to corrupt anything or screw the data is some manner. Any suggestions?

“Some iCloud Data Isn’t Syncing” appears because iCloud is requesting approval from a stale, leftover device recordcalled “skijay-I5.” This does not mean someone else has your account. It is safe to enter your current Mac’s password once you confirm no unknown active devices are in your Apple ID. Alternatively, remove old devices from your Apple ID or reset iCloud Keychain to clear the stuck approval.
