Change finder folder colors for multiple levels of subfolder?

I have a MacBook Pro running Tahoe 26.1. I understand how to change a folder's color and welcome this capability for organizing my files. However, how do I make a folder color change also change the folder colors within a folder, through multiple levels of folder content? I keep my work content on my computer, and I would like to color change all the subfolders within my work folder to the same color.
