Mac mini M4 pro monitor connection issue after sleep mode.

I have a Mac mini M4 Pro and it was connected to 3 monitors. When this Mac goes into sleep mode, it often only recognises 2 monitors. Then I had to unplug and replug the monitors, change the display settings, and then I was able to use 3 monitors again.

But since it went into sleep mode last time, I cannot use the third monitor anymore. It only recognises 2 monitors and it is no longer connected to the third monitor.

How can I fix this?

Mac mini, macOS 26.1

Your Mac mini M4 Pro is losing EDID recognition for the 3rd monitor after sleep.

Try power-cycling the monitor, switching Thunderbolt ports, and resetting display services. If that fails, delete display preference files or change cables/connection types. This is a known sleep-related bug in macOS 26.x, and changing ports/cables or resetting display configs usually fixes it.
