Clicking "Get Info" on any file in finder suddenly takes a very long time? PLEASE HELP

Question

After updating to Tahoe - Clicking "Get Info" on any file in finder just takes a very long time? PLEASE HELP

So very annoying, I have to wait 10x the amount of time vs prior to update it would pop up immediately.

Any help is very much appreciated & Thank you

Try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally. Sometimes that will fix anomalies.

Just to add, if that doesn't help, try rebuilding the Spotlight index.

certainly appreciate your suggestions but unfort "safe mode" did not work. I-will try your alternative.

Seriously takes like a solid 30 seconds to "get info", such a waste of time...
