Music: Smart Playlist contents not visible after viewing album

Smart Playlists contents not visible after accessing album and returning to the playlist

i have done this with multiple smart playlists in Music (all software is latest; nothing to upgrade).

1, access Smart Playlist

2, click on Album to view contents

3, click on Return arrow (top left of album image)

voila

all items still exist; 628 songs in this case. i did this with multiple smart playlists.

i have deleted the Music cache as per one suggestion.

just another in decades of Music bugs. less harmful than others have been, but it's still not ok.
