Messages App Doesn’t Scroll After Update

As per the title, this issue consistently accours after the 26.1, upgrade:

when typing a message and the bubble is full, it does scroll down to reveal what I’m typing.

after one sentence is written, I am incoveniently forced to keep swiping the bubble up so I can view the newly tuped text.
restart offers no solutions.

Suggestions on how to overcome this issue after a genius upgrade anyone ?

You’re not alone — this is a confirmed bug in iOS 26.1 that affects the Messages app’s text-entry field.

A lot of users are reporting exactly the same behavior:

When a message becomes longer than 2–3 lines
The text entry bubble stops auto-scrolling
The cursor goes off the bottom of the screen
You must manually swipe up to see what you’re typing

This is not caused by your settings or device — it’s a UI regression introduced in 26.1.
