Express replacement for AirPods Pro 2, long waiting time

I ordered express replacement for my AirPods Pro 2 nine days ago. Initially, it was said to me that I would get new ones in seven days. So far, I called three times yesterday to try to get my replacement. Nobody had a clear answer. It was said to me that they will try to ship them until the end of the day. Nothing happened; the item is still pending. Does anybody else face such a long delay on express replacement? This is the first time I am using this service. I am now thinking about canceling all my AppleCare+ plans, because I see no point in paying for something that does not exist. I bought a new pair of AirPods Pro 3 already, as I see this can take several weeks or months to resolve. Shame on you, Apple.

I live in Sweden, by the way. This is not a normal situation, as we usually have laws that prohibit false warranties. Seems like Apple found a way around our laws.

Agony continues. I was scheduled for a call with the Apple Customer Satisfaction department. I don't know what they have to do with it. I am not satisfied, that is true. But can they fix my repair? I seriously doubt. Almost 20 days have passed now, and I have called support quite a few times. So far, I have received responses: "Wait, and it will be resolved."; "Something is wrong, but I can't fix it."; "Obviously something is wrong, but I don't know what.".

My conclusion is that AppleCare+ is a fraud. Simple as that. I will simply cancel my subscription for my new iPhone, and will also not insure my new AirPods 3 Pro. It makes no sense to pay 150SEK (16 USD) monthly for phone insurance and 395SEK (40 USD) for 2 years of AirPods insurance that does not work at all. I am now so sorry I paid for the insurance for the AirPods Pro 2 and iPhone 15 Pro I had before.

I will, anyway, escalate the case to a higher authority. There is EU and Swedish law protecting us from these kinds of fraud attempts.

Warning to everyone who wants to pay for AppleCare+: Don't do it! It is not worth the money.

Who knows, maybe the Apple Customer Satisfaction department wants to send you a new pair of AirPods Pro 2.

I would not cancel the Apple Care plan for a brand new iPhone, especially if I'm considering buying the new Series 17, and the fact that I'm depending on a working iPhone. Not to mention the price of such a device.

I can understand, not to renew the insurance for the AirPods Pro after two years.

In any case, Good Luck!
