Macbook restarts because of a problem every time i close it then shows old login screen before flickering and returning to current MacOS

Every time i open the macbook, (it’s one of the touchbar ones) it says “restarted because of a problem. Then it shows an old login screen even though it’s on the latest MacOS, then it works fine when i log in but it’s really annoying because it restarts all my apps apps and i have lost things im making because of this glitch. Someone please tell me if i need to take it somewhere or if it’s an at home fix

Did you already let your MacBook shut down normally and restart it after that?

If this does not help, try to start up in Safe Mode, and let macOS diagnose itself:
