Sluggish internet after closing the lid and opening again

I have macbook air 14 with macOS Tahoe 26.1. I am encountering a strange issue after updating to this new software update.

When I close the lid of my macbook and open it again, the internet gets extremely sluggish to the point I cannot even browse. The issue gets resolved if I restart the macbook.

Please let me know if anyone has any solution.
