Just upgraded to M5 MacBook with Tahoe. So far so good but for some reason the hash key not working. Keyboard set to English UK. Shift 3 and option key 3 both bring up £. Am also unable to get the Euro symbol on the 2 key as am presented with TM symbol when I use option 2. Pretty annoying. Is there a patch due for this?

You just have the wrong input source active. Go to system settings / keyboard / text input / edit / all input sources and use the + and - buttons at the bottom to add "British" and get rid of everything else, especially "British PC".

I get shift 3 = #, option 3 = £, option 2 = ™ and option shift 2 = € on the US keyboard.
