Cannot see girlfriend's location on iPhone after getting a new phone

My girlfriend is sharing her location but I can’t see it. I can share mine and she can see it but I can’t see hers. I just got a new iPhone 12 (upgraded from an iPhone XR). I swapped all my stuff over. My family can see my location and I can see there’s but for some reason I can see my gfs. I’ve tried removing and erasing my old phone and removing it from my find my iPhone, my Apple ID and everything but it still won’t work. Any suggestions?

After upgrading to a new iPhone, you cannot see your girlfriend’s location due to a Find My permission/linking issue. Fixes include merging duplicate contacts, re-sharing location, setting your new device as the active “My Location,” ensuring iMessage linking is active, and verifying both devices’ Find My and iCloud settings. Re-sharing her location usually resolves it.
