Settings app not going full screen in

is settings full screen? my setting is not going full screen mac os tahoe 26.1

The System Settings app does not go 'full screen'. It can get no wider than the settings pane and no taller than the height of your display.

But we Lease the Operating System from Apple


As such, Apple is within their rights to change whatever they want and at whatever time they choose to

When was before? Not in Sequoia, clicking the green dot there just maximizes the vertical dimension, it does not fill the screen.
