Why is the 200GB iCloud+ option missing after a temporary subscription cancellation?

I've been subscribing to icloud+ 200GB for months until recently when there was an issue with my credit card. From my understanding, since it couldn't be charged, the subscription was temporarily cancelled. However, now that my credit card can be charged normally again, the subscription is still off. Not only that, when I checked to see if I needed to sign up for it again, there's no 200GB option & the lowest tier is 2TB, which is way too much for my need. Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix this? Thank you!

The 200GB option is likely missing because Apple's system technically still considers your account attached to that tier (or in a billing grace period), which causes it to display only "Upgrade" options like 2TB rather than the plan you effectively still "have." To restore it, you must navigate to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Change Storage Plan, and crucially, tap "Downgrade Options"; the 200GB tier is almost certainly hidden within this sub-menu.

If the option remains unavailable there, check your Subscriptions settings to ensure an accidental "Apple One" trial isn't causing a conflict, and verify that your total storage usage—including items in your Recently Deleted folders—has not exceeded 200GB, as the system will block you from selecting a tier that cannot hold your current data.
