Unwanted full screen video pop-up

For about a month now, using Safari on my MacBook (with Sequoia 15.7.2) when I use the Merriam Webster dictionary website I start to type in a word, it goes to a full screen video ad. I have to close the tab and re-open. This is the only website where this occurs. Suggestions?

Thank you. Interesting, I had content blocker "on," and pop-ups blocked. For Autoplay I had it set to "Never autoplay" and was still getting the full screen video ads. I did as you suggested, set autoplay to "stop media with sound," and that appears to be what made the difference. I am curious as to why that worked, but "never autoplay" didn't?
