Apple Watch series 5 stopped monitoring resting heart rate since March 2025. Is there a reason for this?
I’ve attempted re-pairing my Apple Watch with my iPhone but the data seems to only exist up until March 2025.
Please advise.

I think I figured it out! I switched of the "Wrist Detection" feature on the Apple Watch after finishing my wrist tattoo as it kept locking.
I've now kept it on but it sure seems Apple Watch cannot register wrist detection on tatooed skin. Am I correct in assuming this?

Correct! Without wrist detection, your watch can also not detect your movement, exercise and how many times you are standing up, to close the rings.
