How to view segment start locations in Apple Watch Series 11 outdoor workouts?
Hi all,
I've begun using my AW Series 11 a bit more seriously for workouts, but I've encountered an odd behavior and I'm not sure if it's an actual bug or I'm just missing something obvious.
When I record an outdoor workout, such as a walk, I add manual segment markers to isolate specific stretches (e.g. going uphill). The Fitness app will show these, together with some data about each one of them: distance, pace, bpm, and so on.
What I'm missing is the location where each segment starts. It's just not there: not on the segments list, nor on the map, and not even in the workout details where you can swipe along any of the graphs to see where you were in that spot. Not even the automatic splits by kilometer are shown (or miles, for the differently metric).
I imported one such outdoor walk in RunGap, and it doesn't even mention segments at all; only automatic splits by km (which do show up on the map). Strava also doesn't show them, at least in the free version; no idea about the paid one.
Am I missing something? Is there any way to see where each segment started? GPS is clearly working, but at this point I wonder if the location is actually saved in the first place.
Thanks in advance!
