How do I remove white border around my text in TextEdit with Mac OS15?
And how to set a default so new files don’t open with the border?

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 15.7
I tried to remove this post or edit to say I had solved the problem, but the removal/edit wouldn’t take last night.
Anyway, the white border I referred to was the “wrap to window”, and “wrap to page” settings.
Before this new computer, I had never seen the border around the active test field in TextEdit.

I am not sure what you mean by a "border" here.
Perhaps you can show us a screenshot illustrating the problem.
Also: is this a plain text or rich text file?
What "white border" are you referring to? Can you post a screenshot of what you mean?
