Comparing Mac Pro 2019 with 96GB RAM and iMac Pro with 128GB RAM for coding and 5K video rendering

Mac Pro 2019 with 96gb ram or iMac Pro with 128gb ram.

i saw those deals online but idk which to buy.

just a fyi, i plan on using it for coding and rendering 5k videos in fcp.

I'm not sure which Video board on 201 Mac Pro, though If I were you, I choose 2019 Mac Pro since it's easy to upgrade RAM and video board.

Note that the 2019 Mac Pro desktop minitower can run Tahoe. The iMac Pro can’t.

Even the Mac Pro will not get future major upgrades to macOS.
