Cannot log in to Outlook app on Mac using Exchange credentials

Can’t log into outlook app on new Mac. Been doing this for years. Never had any problem before. Says I now have to log into outlook using exchange but that doesn’t work either. Have no issue logging in to outlook on web or iPhone.
