Is this normal? Info from my data disk doing repair: The volume Macintosh HD - Data was formatted by mobile_obliterator (1934.141.2) and last modified by apfs_kext (2632.40.15.0.2).

mobile obliterator? Now I am medium on MacOS, but I do not recall every having seen this before:

Any information would be helpful, even if it is to call me naive and let me know that it is normal.

Additionally, I've noticed some weird behavior on my M1 MacBook Pro running 26.1

I believe that that obliterator tool is what Apple uses when you "erase all content" on a drive or remotely wipe the drive. Have you ever erased all content on your drive?

What is the history of this Mac, did you purchase it yourself brand new from Apple? Is it a "managed device" by an employer or some other owner?

That may or may not be significant, what behaviors have you noticed that were not expected?
