I have lots of playlist created by myself. Today I’ve noticed that all covers are gone. Covers has been uploaded from my device in .png format. It’s still displaying on iPhone. When I try to upload it again it’s dissapear in a seconds.
I already tried to clear cache via Apple Music settings, deauthorize this device and logout from my account. Does anybody know how to fix it?

Signing out of Apple Music via Account > Sign Out and then logging back in again worked for me.
Give it a moment to download the artwork and they will appear.
Same issue here, after os26.1 update all playlists' custom artworks disappeared on Mac and Apple TV.
Still showing on iPad and iPhone but if I change one artwork on iPhone it doesn't update on iPad.
Just another bug from a useless update.... nice!!!!
I hope they will fix this soon since I loved this feature!
I too have this issue, also on a MacBook Air (M1, 2020) running macos 26.
mine is gone as well, i tried changing the covers then 2 mins later it disappeared again and again, maybe it's bugs
