Static noise w AirPod Pro 2

I just upgraded from airpod pros 1st gen to 2nd gen and when I have them in and a hood up or if im laying down it makes a nutty static noise. my last airpods didnt do that. I’ve seen people say that its bc of noise cancellation mode, but I only use my AirPods on that mode, and I would like to use NC without the static…
