Change PDF image to jpeg

I want to change a photo in pdf format to a jpeg image. How?

It might depend on what kind of .pdf you have.


The easiest way is to zoom in as desired, and take a screenshot (screenshot crop with Shift-Command-4).


One option is Preview.app > File > Export > Format > JPEG. Then crop that, if needed.


I sometimes open .pdf in Photoshop with the desired ppi raster setting, crop, and save as .jpg.
