Removing a child's Apple Account (under 14) from Family Sharing without credit card verification

Hello, I am the family organizer of my Apple ID.

I need to remove my child’s Apple ID (under 14 years old) from Family Sharing.

The child’s account is “ ***********(**********@icloud.com)”.

I cannot verify with a credit card because I only want to unlink the child account.

Could you please help me remove or unlink the child account from my Family Sharing group?

I have never heard of having to verify a credit card in order to remove somebody from a family sharing group. This suggests to me there is more behind this than you have included in your description.

If the person has "child" status then they can only be transferred to another family group, or have their account deleted entirely.
