My moon phases on my watch shows only a faded moon— never changes. Looked info, but the responses are poor at best. Thread closed two years ago and it seems as if the response is essentially “oh well”.
any real solutions out there, or should I just buy another kind of watch next time?

Which Watch face do you use?
The Lunar Watch face should change the phases on the display, as shown in the user guide.
Since there has been a Full Moon recently, we will have to wait a couple of days for changes in the display, I guess.
