AirPods getting whistling sound

Dear Apple Support Team,

I recently purchased a pair of AirPods Pro 3 from Unicorn Store on 3rd November 2025. Since the day of purchase, I have been experiencing an unusual whistling sound from the AirPods whenever I wear them, especially when the Noise Cancellation mode is turned on.

I have already followed the troubleshooting steps and recommendations available on Apple’s official website, but the issue still persists. This kind of sound is quite unexpected from such a reputed and trustworthy Apple product.

Considering the premium cost of the AirPods, I am disappointed to encounter this issue and would like to ensure that the product is not defective. Could you please guide me on how to proceed for a replacement or repair, and confirm whether this could be an MFD (manufacturing defect) product from the store?

I would appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this issue.

It may be interference that getting in the way here.

No. There is no recall service available for these: Apple Service Programs - Apple Support

AppleCare+ for AirPods:

Being so expensive of an item, maybe consider getting AppleCare+ with these the next time you go about purchasing AirPods. To see if you have AppleCare+ with these, find the Serial Number, and then enter it here: View Coverage - AppleCare & Warranty

I’m waiting for AirPod pro 3 for last 21 days back from service centre ( in India) to resolve the crackling noise , I even had apple care - not helping so far .. Apple is living with my product for trouble shooting their design issues .. regret losing my airpod pro first generation

Awaiting a Return from a Service Center:

It usually takes 30 days to get it back from Apple. So, you’re just going to have to wait it out.
