Hair causes mic static on AirPods Pro 3

I recently received a pair of AirPod Pro 3s. When using them in either Transparency or Adaptive Modes, every time I move and my hair brushes the microphone, there is static. This is not picked up when in Noise Cancelling mode. I am mostly using my AirPods while walking in my neighborhood, so I am not comfortable using them in the Noise Cancelling mode. I haven't seen anyone else complain about this, but it is driving me crazy!

Might take more than once.

Is this your first pair of AirPods? If not did you experience this problem with the previous pair.

I will give that a try. These are my first pair of Pros, previously I was using a pair of 1st gen OGs, so obviously my first pair with the mic screen on the outer stem.
