Mac Mail not displaying message bodies in Tahoe Finder search results

I have always used 'Find' in Finder to look for info in old mail messages across my MANY saved mboxes.

In Sequoia, I would simply double click mail messages that came up in the Finder results and Mac mail would open them up for me to review.

The Tahoe Finder does search and find old messages in the same way, and when I double click them Mac Mail will still open them....

...but only the headers are shown. No body text.

What gives?

No, I wasn't using the magnifying glass. I've been using Macs since 1990 so I've always just hit Command-F in the Finder when I'm looking for something.

It's not my header settings in Mail either. All my Tahoe mail messages display just fine.

Like I say, it's only a problem with old emails backed up in pre-Tahoe mboxes. Tahoe Mail WILL open them with all headers intact, but their body text doesn't display.
