Full storage creates all kinds of trouble. And one of the biggest headaches is that when the storage is full it becomes difficult to delete stuff! The operating system needs space to move files around, and without that space the apps like Photos can't follow their instructions.

Are you using "Optimize Storage" in iCloud Photos for your Photos app? (Settings>[name]>iCloud>Photos) If not, then turning that on with iCloud Photos can save lots of storage space, but you have to give Apple $1 a month or more.

You have so little space left that you may not be able to delete large files, so you should start with deleting small ones.

Let us know how it goes…
