Does this happen to you? - Siri ignores system settings!

Type to Siri continues to pop up with the keyboard shortcut 🌐+S, in addition to whichever other option is actually selected.

You can quickly check it. System Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri > Siri Requests: Keyboard shortcut.

This bug frustrates me a lot because in System Settings > Keyboard > Press 🌐 key to, I have Start Dictation (Press 🌐 Twice) selected, I like this shortcut and wanted to assign 🌐+S to what appears in menus as Speech > Start Speaking (shortcut setting in System Settings > Accessibility > Vision: Spoken Content > Speak selection: ⓘ > Keyboard shortcut).

Notice the S…S… opportunity? 🌐🌐 to speak to your Mac, 🌐+S for it to speak back to you. Neat! (At least it's easier to remember than the default shortcut, ⌥+esc.)

…But it turns out 🌐+S is hijacked by Siri! :((

Surely someone has reported this bug before me, but it's still there and I want to decry it, dammit! At least I vent out a little…

Maybe this's fixed in Tahoe?? - Oh well… If only I felt adventurous enough to install Tahoe after reading about some exasperating new bugs in its apps…

I'll read your responses!

Thank you, fellow Apple lovers.
