Apple Watch Series 4 not pairing with iPhone pro Max13

Asking for software update

For software update, asking to enter Apple ID and password but after entering showing that either email I’d or password is wrong

Has this Apple Watch been set up with the same Apple Account as the iPhone to which to want to pair it?
