Photos Deleted with IOS 26.1 update

I just updated my phone to IOS 26.1 last night and I went to check my photos and it’s only showing all my photos from 2024. All my photos are missing from 2020 till 2025. Is any one else experiencing this and know how to fix or make it sync faster? it says it’s syncing from icloud but it’s been doing that all day now and not a single photo or video has been synced yet, ( I even left my phone on the charger and wifi throughout the day because I read that can help it sync faster) Really hope I can figure this out because my job is a lot of photography/content creation off of my Iphone and I just lost majority of my footage. Ugh!
