Finder: Can I change where long file names are truncated?

In the Finder, in list view, if the column is too narrow and the file name is too big, the file name is truncated in the middle. For example:

long_file_name...amburger.txt

I would love to see that truncation happen at the end of the file name in stead of the middle:

long_file_name_recipe_10...

Is this possible?

Extra context: I have two Finder windows side by side and I'm comparing files and file sizes. My file names begin with a date, and often, the end of the date is truncated. (For example: 2025-10...end_of_file.txt) Some file names are too long to expand the column all the way. It would shove other pertinent information off the end. I'm aware that I can hover over the file name to preview the whole thing, but that's inconvenient for at-a-glance comparisons between two folders.
