Re: AppleWatch for your kids E-sim Australia
Am no expert in this area, yet your request surely deserves some response!
Fortunately Apple Support provides much info, in their online articles: Eg: Apple Watch - Carriers - Apple
eg: seems to say it is up to the carrier whether or not they offer / support service for Apple Watch For Your Kids.
Linked Article above Lists carriers who support Apple Watch
Australia
- Optus
- Telstra 4 (4) UMTS not supported. Contact your service provider for more details
- Vodafone
NB: _______
However, there may be quite a difference in supporting service to those who don't own their own phone.
Also: says:
"Check with your carrier to see if your iPhone plan is eligible for Apple Watch cellular service. If you have an enterprise or corporate cellular service plan, check with your company or carrier to see if they support this feature. Prepaid accounts and some older accounts may not be supported."
Apple Watch - Carriers - Apple
says
Apple Watch For Your Kids
(for Apple Watch Series 4 and up : GPS + Cellular)
Australia
BetterRoaming 7
(7) "If your iPhone service provider does not currently support Apple Watch For Your Kids, you can still set up a service plan for a family member’s Apple Watch with this service provider. Contact the service provider for more details."
