Wrist flick not working

I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2 all updated on iOS 26 but the wrist flick doesn’t work. I have set alarms. I’ve set timers and no matter when I flick my wrist does absolutely nothing. The only way I can switch alarm time off is pressed it to snooze or off or cover it with my hand wrist flick just not doing anything???
