Files missing in folders in Time Machine backups

Question

There are folders in my Time Machine backups but they are empty.

I thought this had something to do with a system issue in July but the ** June 8 and the backup today are the same.

All the folders are backed up but they are empty.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.7

Navigate to the folder on your Mac. What does it contain?

Then, "Enter Time Machine". What do you see?
