Comcast email not working on iPhone 15 Pro Max after password change

my comcast email unexpectedly stopped working on my IPhone 15 pro max. I changed my password on Xfinity and on my iPhone mail app. I deleted the account and added it again. Still not working.

  • Sign into your account at Xfinity.com
  • Choose your user icon on that web page
  • Choose Check Email
  • Tap the Settings icon on that page (it looks like a wheel)
  • Choose Email Settings
  • Choose Security
  • Make sure Third Party Access Security is checked


Without this option checked Xfinity will only allow web access to the email account and you have to allow your email account to be accessed by an app such as Mail.
