I have forgotten the name I gave my new Mac mini during it's initial start-up. Unfortunately, I turned my computer off for a week long vacation. Noe I'm back and turned the Mac mini on and it requires the name and password. I have the password, but can't remember the name. What is my next step?

It would usually be your full name, as you would have configured it when you created the macOS installation.
(The next question would be whether you also remember your password.)
