Apple maps guides deletion

I have an Iphone 12, iOS version 18.7.1. I opened up apple yesterday and all my guides had disappeared. I updated my phone recently, but besides that have not made any changes, and not sure why this has happened. Everything in "places" and my pinned spots are still there though.

I had seen another community post that recommended just turning off and on maps in Icloud settings but that did not seem to work. Any solutions?
