iMessage not received on iMac intermittently

I have used iMessage on iphone/ipad/imac for years. All synced together with no issue. Recently incoming messages are received on the iPhone but not the iMac. I went back thru the sync settings on iMac and iPhone to perform a manual sync. Waiting to see what happens next.....
