Bluetooth connection in car

I have noticed with my new IPhone 17 pro max that when I receive a call on my hands free system in My Jeep Renegade 2016. The caller reports that they cannot hear me and that my voice is breaking up. If I switch to the phone and speaker they report that the issue goes away. I have the apple wallet attached to the case magnetically and thought maybe it was that but I have removed it and had the same feedback. Not sure what it is, whether it is an issue with the phone I am not sure. I previously had an IPhone Pro Max 15 connected and had no issues whatsy
