Can’t add redeemed Apple Card to wallet

In order to get your Apple Gift Card into your wallet you need to enable the Apple Account Card.

Follow the instructions in the link provided. As you hopefully know already Apple Gift Cards can only be used to purchase Apple branded hardware, software, and services. It cannot be used like a credit card to buy anything other than Apple products and services.

Apple Pay requires the use of a debit card, credit card or prepaid debit card. Also the bank that issued the payment method has to support Apple Pay and the country the bank is in has to support Apple Pay.

Apple Pay is Tap-To-Pay at stores, gas stations, subway turnstiles etc. It can also be used online if the website supports Apple Pay.

Apple Card is a Mastercard credit card issued by Goldman Sachs Bank and is currently exclusive to the US.

I think what you’re calling Apple Card is an Apple Gift card.

Apple Gift cards can’t be added to Apple Wallet app. Apple Gift cards cannot be refunded. Meaning, you cannot add additional funds to them incentive redeemed or spent the original value of the card.
