iPhone 16 pro max disconnect after pairing a Bluetooth USB dongle

I have a USB dongle to create a wireless connection instead of a cable connection for apple car play.

I have updated to the latest IOS 18.7.1, reset Network on the phone, unpaired and paired again the device, hard rest the phone, but it still connects for a few seconds and then disconnects, then fees seconds later it reconnects and disconnects again.

I have tried my wife’s phone and it all works fine.

any advice would be appreciated.
