Replacing POP Email with IMAP on my 2024 IMAC
I seem not able to delete my POP Email account on my IMAC.
From the settings when I delete the POP Email account and then add the new account it still appears as POP!
Apple Tech Support person said that I would have to delete my current IMAP Email on my IPhone and IMAP completely to be able to replace the POP with IMAP. I contacted my Email provider and was told to do that I would have to use a new address, which I would not choose to do!
Seems like there should be a way to delete the POP account on my IMAC (deleting a cache,etc?) to enable the IMAC to star fresh?
The crazy thing is I was able to replace the POP account on my two other devices. (IPHONE and 2017 IMAC)
