Calendar search inconsistency on new iPhone 17 with iOS 26

New iPhone17 on iOS26. I have multiple gmail calendars. They are showing up and syncing properly. If I create an even on my desktop, the event DOES get pushed to my phone. If i create an event on my phone, it DOES show up on my google calendar when viewing on a desktop.

My search feature is super inconsistent. It seems that any event that I created or edited since I set up the new phone DOES search properly. However, any event that was created prior to the new phone (doesn't' matter if it is a past or future event) doesn't populate.

It basically seems like my calendar events need to be completely re-indexed.
