imessage not syncing groupchat contact issue

Hi I am having issues on my apple devices with my imessages particularly a group chat with all blue bubbles. I tried hard reset, logging out of imessage on my mac, and removing and being re-added to the group chat.

Problem: the message bar is not appearing for me. I can view and go to group details and see my contact there. but cannot type. when I long press on a message in the gc it just says : "copy,translate,select,more.."

any help for this?

on my mac I am running : Tahoe 26.0.1

on my phone : 26.0.1

on my ipad: 26.0.1

10/24/25 update:

Got the text box back on my phone. What I tried: In no particular order:

hard resets (volume up, volume down, power button till apple logo) , changing the imessage send and receive to just my number, friend sending through sms in the group chat instead of wifi for imessage, and on phone I tried to delete my remaining contact in the group chat deleting email, and somehow the text box reappeared back.

There is still a problem for my mac and ipad for the same group chat not showing text box on those devices..Any help?
