Airpods Pro 2 won't shut up

I've tried resetting, I've tried re-pairing, I've already got case sounds disabled in the settings, but for some reason, when my airpods get close to my phone, they will not stop chirping. I walk into a fairly quiet office every morning and when the airpods start screaming, it's extremely obnoxious. I've tried every suggestion I've seen online, NOTHING has worked. My original airpods pro didn't do this. It is specific to these stupid 2nd generation ones.
