i can hear myself talking on a phone call other person wears airpods

Looking for some help when on a phone call to my partner (he wears AirPods Pro 2) I can always hear myself talking I mostly have my phone on speaker phone but it’s the same if I have the phone to my ear it’s starting to really bug me if anyone has any tips
