iCloud issues (While using pages and numbers in iOS 26)

Hi, I have issues with iCloud, especially when I try to change a file’s name or when I try to edit a collaborative file/document (stored in iCloud). After making changes or trying to access the documents (most of them are mine) the screen shows the next window notification:

If you have a solution I would be glad to know about it. By the moment I’ve been duplicating documents several times to open them, but tbh, it’s really annoying.

Thank you

Thank you for the screenshot.

Grant Permission for the App:

To resolve permission issues on an iPhone...

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Privacy & Security
  3. Toggle ON: permissions for the app trying to access the item.

Thank you for your support!: It didn’t work, all permissions are enabled (toggled ON) for both apps. iCloud access on my iPhone does work, but not on my iPad. I think it is more about an issue with the OS (iOS 26.0.1) in iPad.

You are welcome.

Try Factory Reset:

Either perform a Factory Reset of your iPad, backing it up first to a computer, and then seeing if this is fixed.

Report this to Apple:

Did you recently update your iPad?

Do your part: Let Apple know what is going on here. Provide them with feedback on this. They may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they received on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of your occurrence, if you don’t report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPad - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that it is after installing the update when the issue began. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there aw necessary
