Siri responsiveness continues to be slow

I’ve seen this reported since about iOS14 and see the behavior myself. Siri used to respond to requests almost instantly (“hey siri, add potatoes to the grocery list”, etc.). But the responses continue to be slow in coming, and instances of “I’m sorry, I can’t complete your request” or such are more and more frequent.

I’m assuming these are headaches resulting from Apple’s AI integration, but this has been going on for about 3 years now.

Has anyone seen any improvement? Or have any suggestions?
